Fat marker sketches are cool except when they look bad

I really like the idea of using "fat marker sketches" in product specs.

They are supposed to look "messy" and "rough. The problem is my real fake handwriting is so messy it looks deranged and distracts from the entire point of the sketch.

So I played around with Rough.js and sine waves until I got one I liked. I very rarely use math so if you have a better way to do this Tweet Me or something. There wasn't a lot of literature out there on making waves that look like cursive, ya know?
